Rep Tryouts

If your player has their sights set on Provincial Level Ringette (AA or A), The Kitchener Ringette Association is hosting an online information night on Thursday February 6th, 2025 at 7pm.

The Intent-to-Tryout Form opens February 5, 2025 and must be completed no later than March 3, 2025. Don’t miss this important step in the process—it's your ticket to tryouts for the upcoming season!

What Is Provincial Level Ringette?

AA and A levels (U14 to U19) are the competitive tiers of ringette, where players compete against teams from South Western Ontario and the GTA in the Great Lakes Ringette League.

AA Teams: Fewer in number, with more frequent and farther travel.
A Teams: Similar travel but more opportunities for games closer to home.
Commitment: Higher expectations, both in time and financial investment, compared to B and C levels.

During tryouts, coaches will outline the commitment required and may ask families of selected players to sign an agreement indicating their readiness to meet these expectations.

Tryout Process in a Nutshell:

Submit Your Intent: The Intent-to-Tryout Form will be posted on the [www.wrra.ca]Western Region's website. Once the form is live on February 5, 2025, we will send out another communication with the direct link to make it easy for you to access.
Register and Pay for Tryouts: Once team details are finalized, KRA will post tryout schedules and fees on our website. www.kitchenerringette.com
Attend Tryouts: Players may try out for multiple associations (fees apply per association), but must follow the Closest Association Matrix rules.
